MY READERS

Thank you for keeping up with me and my photography.

ABOUT JESSICA MCCRARY

I have found myself to be quite lucky in life. I have been able to change jobs for the pass 7 years learning a new life's lesson at each job. These life lessons I carry with me throughout my life. Back to me being lucky I have truly won the job lottery on this job. I was working a job that just was not me and decided that I would go get my CDLs. So shortly after turning 21 I got my CDLs and been out here on the road ever since. This job works for me I love traveling, driving, and getting GREAT photography shots, just so happens I get paid for it. I work for SWIFT TRANSPORTATION. I drove by myself for 5 months with a 53' van trailer now I pull a flatbed and team with Dan. We both were company drivers before we started teaming. We have been together for two years and have leased two trucks. Our first lease truck was a white KW T2000 and now leasing a beautiful red with gold flake KW T660.

We get along awesome out here! It takes that certain chemistry to live together in a 8x12 living space. But you will hear this a lot from me "its not the material things in life that makes me love someone, it is what is inside" lol "not the organs or the blood but the time someone wants to spend with you, the conversations you have, its the learning something new about them everyday, its getting to share life's little moments together!" Life's little moments like seeing New Mexico's cities at night is like seeing thousands of diamonds glistening as if to say that it is not really the DEAD of the night. It is getting to share a Western Sunset together watching the sky's colors flow together much like the relationship we have.

We have most of the comforts of a house life including our kids (dogs). Sadie & Sophie lets us come back to the bunk and completely forget we are in a moving 18 wheeled vehicle. They are twin short haired red dachshunds. Although both of them are super-long like the definition of a wiener dog, they have their unique characteristics.

Everyday I learn or see something new about the United States. One example of this is that what I have seen of the Rio Grande, it is not all that grande! After driving that states I have I have realized that the United States is small. I have to drive in Washington State, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island and then there is Alaska and Hawaii before I have driven in all 50 states. The United States has been a learning experience to me because before July of 2007 I had never been west of the Mississippi River. I have send a lot of wild life out here such as prairie dogs, antelopes, road runners (but coyote wasn't behind them), armadillos and gators but these gators you'll only see on the road or the sides of the roads.
